Da Uphill Movement Guide
Sprint, crouch peek, stomp pathing, and the X macro bind — movement as a gun-range tool.
Guns decide the letter. Movement decides whether you ever get to use that letter. Da Uphill’s current place from VoidFaIIs Entertainment is a thirty-player hood FFA on brick streets, stairs, and doors. Official controls are simple: Shift sprint, Ctrl crouch, right-click ADS, E stomp, X macro, left-click shoot. This page is not a keybind dump — that lives on controls. This page is how those binds change a fight.
You spawn with guns and cash. You do not buy a movement upgrade. Every life is the same kit and a different path. Rushers sprint then crouch a door. Peekers crouch a half-body and reset. Stampers path to a downed player without arriving empty. Mobile players map the same ideas onto thumbs. If you want the job names, read playstyles first. If you want the gun that matches the path, read gun rankings.
Sprint is an approach, not a personality
Sprint (Shift) exists to close a street or a hill so your closer is in range. It is not a lane hold. A sprinting full-height body is the easiest shot on the server for a Rev peeker, a rifle, or a locker tracking a straight line. Sprint the gap, then drop sprint before the fight.
The honest sprint windows are: spawn to first cover, cover to a door, and rotate after a kill when the next stair is empty. The dishonest windows are: sprinting a peek, sprinting a reload, and sprinting a stomp down the same hallway the shots just came from.
If you must cross a lane, break the line. Crouch for a step, change height, or take the interior instead. Thirty players means someone is always watching a straight sidewalk. Do not gift them a full-speed target.
Sprint also fights ADS. You cannot hold a clean peek at full run. If the next job is a corner, stop, crouch, ADS, then take the slice. Rushers who sprint through their own first shot are why DB looks “inconsistent” in their hands.
Crouch peek is the default mid fight
Crouch (Ctrl) does two jobs. It makes the peek smaller, and it steadies the shot you actually wanted to take. Hood FFA is a half-body game. Show a head and a shoulder off brick, shoot, duck back. That is Rev’s whole life and a rifle’s lane life.
Do not crouch in the open as a lifestyle. A static crouch on a sidewalk is a free stomp and a free head. Crouch is a corner tool and a door-threshold tool. Cross the door crouched so the rusher waiting inside does not get a full-height first shot. Then move. Holding crouch in the middle of a room after a dump is how you reload into E.
Jiggle peeks beat wide peeks. Tap the angle, do not walk the whole street. If the first slice eats a shot, that angle is taken — rotate, do not re-peek the same pixel. Lockers make this even more true, because a wide swing is what a lock script wants.
Crouch plus ADS is the peeker kit. Crouch without ADS is just a shorter rusher. Know which job you are on before you hold the key.
Jump-shot caution
Jumping is loud, tall, and greedy. A jump-shot can throw a peeker who is locked to head height, and it can also put your full hitbox on a postcard for everyone else on the street. In this FFA, jump-shot as a habit loses more fights than it wins.
Use jump to clear a small ledge or a stair lip, not to spray. If you jump into a door with DB, you have made the close TTK fight harder for yourself: you are airborne, you cannot crouch the threshold, and your second shell is late. Walk the door. Crouch the door. Do not bounce the door.
Jump-shot as a mix-up is a once-per-fight tool against a player who has already seen your crouch peek twice. It is not a spawn-to-death rhythm. If your entire movement is jump, a stamper will time E on the landing.
Mobile thumbs should be even more careful. A jump plus a touch fire plus a reload is how you empty a closer at the sky. Keep jump for traversal.
Stomp approach
Stomp is E (or D-pad down on controller). The bind is easy. The path is the whole skill. You want to arrive on a downed player from a side, with a live gun, and leave before the third body takes you.
Do not sprint down the kill lane. The player who got the down is often still there, and so is everyone who heard the shots. Take a parallel interior, crouch the last steps if you need a smaller profile, press E, then check the next corner immediately. Reloading on the corpse is how stampers become the next corpse.
If two people are already on the body, you are late. Rotate. FFA does not owe you a stomp because you walked toward a sound. For the stomp-specific route and timing, use how to stomp. This page only cares that E is a movement destination, not a button you mash while standing in a doorway.
A live gun on arrival matters more than the stomp itself. Swap before you commit if your closer is dry. Rev is a common stamper hold because it is still useful after you leave the body.
Macro bind X as a movement tool
X (or D-pad right) is the default macro bind. In this lineage it is an in-game movement tool, not an external cheat, and the current place even advertises mobile macro in the title. Use it to arrive: close a gap, break a predictable sprint line, or chain into a door without walking a straight sidewalk.
Macro is not aim. It will not rank a gun from C to S. Spamming X in the open makes you a noisy, readable target. Tap it as part of an approach, then return to crouch and ADS for the actual shot. The macro guide is the dedicated bind page; the rule here is simpler. Macro gets you to the range. The gun at that range still has to fire.
On mobile, the on-screen macro control is the same idea. Do not spin it as panic. Use it to close, then shoot. If macro plus jump plus fire is your only plan, you will lose to a crouched Rev who never left the corner.
Lockers can still track a macro path if you run it in a straight lane. Break the path with a crouch or an interior. Movement tools do not cancel a lock script. They only stop you from being the easiest line on the map.
Putting the binds on a life
Spawn. Sprint to first cover. Decide rusher or peeker. Rusher: macro or sprint the gap, crouch the door, closer out, dump, swap, leave. Peeker: stop sprint, crouch the corner, ADS, one shot, reset. If a body drops, path a side route, live gun, E, leave. If the next fight is a street, rifle or Rev. If the next fight is a stair, DB or SG.
That is the whole movement kit. No extra ability, no shop, no partner. The parent players hub indexes this next to playstyles. Practice the path on an empty stair before you practice jump-shots you do not need.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Da Uphill FFA, guns, stomp, and codes.
What does the X macro bind actually do?
X (D-pad right on controller) is the default in-game macro bind — a movement tool, not an external cheat. Use it to arrive at a door or break a straight sprint line, then crouch and shoot. Spamming it in the open just makes you readable. See the macro guide for the bind-focused walkthrough.
Should I jump-shot every fight?
No. Jump is tall, loud, and late on a door. Walk and crouch thresholds with a closer. Save jump for ledges, stair lips, or a rare mix-up after someone has already seen your crouch peek twice.
How should I approach a stomp?
From a side, with a live gun. Do not sprint down the kill lane. Press E, then check the next corner immediately. Reloading on the corpse is how you join it. If two people are already there, rotate. How to stomp covers the route in more detail.
Does crouch peek beat sprinting a door?
They are different jobs. Sprint (or macro) closes the gap. Crouch as you cross the threshold so the first shot is not full-height. Peekers crouch a half-body on a corner with ADS. Sprinting the actual fight is how you donate a kill to Rev.
