Da Uphill Controls

Official PC, console, and mobile binds plus how ADS, hipfire, crouch peek, and stomp actually get used.

FFA Controls Sheet

Da Uphill publishes a short control list and then expects you to live in it. There is no hidden skill tree of extra buttons. The difference between a new spawn and a player who owns a doorway is how cleanly those six actions chain: ADS, shoot, reload, crouch, sprint, stomp, and the in-game macro bind. This page is the bind sheet. Pair it with getting started if you have not spawned yet, and with how to play once the keys stop being the problem.

The current place — Da Uphill (MOBILE MACRO) (FREE SKINNY) by VoidFaIIs Entertainment — lists the same core actions across devices. Fully compatible on PC, mobile, and console through Roblox is the point of that list. If a YouTube overlay shows extra keys from another hood game, ignore it until you can find that key in this table.

PC binds

ActionInput
MacroX
ADSRight click
ShootLeft click
StompE
ReloadR
CrouchLeft Ctrl
SprintLeft Shift

Right click is ADS, not secondary fire. Left click is shoot, not interact. Players coming from other Roblox shooters sometimes bind interact over E and then wonder why stomps never land. Keep E free. Keep X free. The macro guide explains why X is a real in-game control and not an invitation to install an autoclicker.

Console binds

ActionInput
MacroDPadRight
StompDPadDown
ReloadButtonX
CrouchButtonB
SprintButtonL3

The official description maps mouse ADS and shoot as right click and left click. On a gamepad, use Roblox’s default aim and fire on your device for those two actions, and treat the DPad and face buttons above as the ones Da Uphill actually documents. Do not invent extra shoulder macros because a Da Hood video used them. ButtonL3 is click-in on the left stick for sprint. ButtonB is crouch. ButtonX is reload. DPadDown is stomp. DPadRight is macro.

If DPadRight fights Roblox’s emote or UI focus on your console, close extra menus before a fight. A stomp on DPadDown that instead opens a radial wheel is a lost kill. Practice the DPad in an empty pocket of the map before you trust it in a pile. The how to stomp page covers the timing after the bind is clean.

Mobile binds

Mobile uses the same documented actions with on-screen DPad and buttons:

ActionInput
MacroDPadRight
StompDPadDown
ReloadButtonX
CrouchButtonB
SprintButtonL3

The live place title calls out mobile macro for a reason. Phone players are not a second-class layout in this experience. Put stomp where your right thumb can hit it without covering ADS. Put macro on DPadRight so you are not stretching across the whole screen. Sensitivity, thumb parking, and why the listing advertises mobile macro are expanded on the mobile guide. Do not copy a four-finger claw from a different title until the six official actions are reachable.

ADS versus hipfire

ADS (right click on PC) tightens the shot you meant to take. Hipfire is what happens when you panic-left-click while sprinting through a doorway. Use ADS when you have a head-height angle, a revolver peek, or any fight past shotgun range. Hipfire when a player is already in your model, when a stomp is one step away, or when ADS would eat the only frame you have.

A common first-hour mistake is holding ADS the entire walk from spawn. You move worse, you see less of the street, and you still miss the first person who crouch-peeks you. Sprint to the angle, crouch or stop, then ADS. If the first shot misses, do not hipfire the rest of the mag at a wall — reload or reset the peek. Reload (R / ButtonX) is long enough that you should not start it in the open.

Crouch peek and sprint

Crouch (Left Ctrl / ButtonB) is not a stealth mode. It is a peek tool. Crouch as you clear a doorway so your head is not at the height everyone pre-aims. Stand back up before you sprint. Sprint (Left Shift / ButtonL3) is for rotating between covers and for closing a downed player, not for entering a 1v1 already moving at full speed.

Sprint cancel — tap sprint off as you ADS — keeps your first shot from going into the floor. Players who leave sprint on through the whole clip lose trades they should have won. Combine crouch and a short strafe when you re-peek the same angle; standing in the same pixel is how you eat a revolver that was already waiting. Movement chains that go beyond the bind sheet live on movement.

Macro bind and stomp bind

X (or DPadRight) is the documented macro key. Press it in-game. That is the whole official instruction. Community movement tech from Da Hood clones also uses the word macro for strafe-crouch-click patterns. Those are not the same thing as an external autoclicker file. If a site wants your Roblox password to enable macro, close it. Details, including what not to download, sit in the macro guide.

E (or DPadDown) is stomp. You must be close. A stomp from mid-street does nothing except announce that you are about to run into someone else’s ADS. Bind awareness matters as much as the key: if your keyboard uses E for emotes in other experiences, Da Uphill will steal that habit and you will emote on a body instead of finishing it.

A ten-minute bind drill

Spawn, ignore the first gunfight, and run a private loop against empty space. ADS on a doorway, fire two shots, reload behind cover, crouch peek the same doorway, sprint to a new corner, tap macro once so you know the feel, then walk up to a wall and press stomp so the animation is in muscle memory. Then go take a real fight. If a bind failed during the drill, fix the layout before you blame the gun.

Console and mobile players should repeat the drill with DPadRight and DPadDown until those directions are not UI directions. PC players should confirm that right click is not bound to Roblox’s context camera. After the drill, go back to getting started for spawn habits or jump into a live FFA with the how to play rules of the road.

Controls in Da Uphill are a closed set. The players who look faster are not pressing secret keys; they are chaining the published ones without a dead frame between sprint, ADS, and stomp. Print this table in your head, keep X and E unconflicted, and treat every extra overlay from another hood game as optional flavor until this sheet is automatic.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Da Uphill FFA, guns, stomp, and codes.

What key is macro in Da Uphill?

X on PC and DPadRight on console or mobile. It is an in-game bind listed by the experience, not a file you install. See the macro guide for the difference.

Should I ADS every shot?

No. ADS (right click on PC) for peeks and mid-range. Hipfire when a player is already in your model or a stomp is one step away. Holding ADS while you walk from spawn just slows you down.

How do I stomp on console or mobile?

DPadDown. PC uses E. You still have to be next to the downed player. Bind practice is in this page; finish timing is in how to stomp.

Why don't these binds match another hood game?

Da Uphill is a separate Roblox experience. Use the official list on this page. Extra keys from Da Hood videos are not documented here and should not replace X, E, R, Ctrl, and Shift.
